Relax & Release Medical, founded in 2019, is a family owned and operated medical marijuana practice by Dr. Carlos Levy and Taylor Levy
Since January 2017, qualified patients have been able to obtain a physician recommendation for a medical marijuana treatment. Despite the passing of Florida’s Amendment 2, many patients remain uninformed about medical marijuana benefits and laws, cannot access a medical marijuana doctor, or feel uncomfortable with the many corporate groups that exist today.
Relax & Release Medical was founded to expand access to safe and affordable medical marijuana care to patients seeking more effective treatment.
Dr. Carlos Levy, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is board certified in family practice and a qualified medical marijuana physician. Having graduated from Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine (now Nova Southeastern University) in 1987, Dr. Levy has been treating patients in South Florida for over 33 years.
Since January 2019, Dr. Levy has been treating patients with medical marijuana and has been helping qualified patients obtain a medical marijuana card. His empathetic, respectful, and honest approach to patient care has established himself as one of the leading medical marijuana doctors in the state of Florida.
In addition to Relax & Release Medical, Dr. Levy is the Medical Director at the urgent care center Associates M.D. located in Pembroke Pines, FL and sees patients there three days a week
Taylor Levy is the managing partner of Relax & Release Medical. From front office duties to back office administrative work and everything in between, Taylor works with patient’s to ensure they have an understanding of the daily aspects of being a medical marijuana patient. From prescriptions and limitations, dispensaries, and the medications themselves, Taylor works with Dr. Carlos Levy to help patients implement their treatment plans and ensure they are comfortable when they leave the office in regards to understanding which medications to purchase, where to buy them, and how to use them. He is readily available for patients after their office visit should they have any questions, issues, or concerns.
Taylor graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2014 with a degree in biology and has spent time backpacking around the world and working in various fields, before becoming a commercial pilot in 2019.
